  1. Nope - its just done in good old macromedia flash. Nothing to stop the new intro page using other technologies though, just so long as it doesnt take ages to download
  2. Well as far as I can work out... Each vote for all three is a third vote for each person, each vote for a single person is a whole vote for that person and a third vote deducted from each of the other two. Ensuring a level start and taking into account the 12* 1 Third votes for each person as a base to work from, Sarnie has 4+5 - ((1*1/3)+(7*1/3)) votes, Liam has 4+1 - ((5*1/3)+(8*1/3)) and Sl114 has 4+7 - ((5*1/3)+(1*1/3)), resulting in Sarnie only being 2 and 2/3 votes behind Liam. Ive tried other ways of making the gap closer, but thats the best I can come up with.
  3. We can send mass emails from the site yes, and one will be going out.
  4. Looks like a reasonably quick fix to add this option. By the way - the recent topics link should work too, so if you have replied to an unread topic today and want to find it again even if there havent been any more replies since your own - recent topics is your friend.
  5. Ahh right, I understand now.. The default is for the topic title and the text within the topic to be searched. This can be changed to search the text of the entire thread (using the radio button on the right hand side when you go to the serach page) but there is no option to only search the topic title. Ill see if its a quick fix.
  6. The reason its pixelated on the front is because its in flash and lower res. A smoother logo could be used, but the flash file would be larger too... As Mike says if anyone wants to re-do the intor animation thats great We had a lot to do to get it off the ground, so it wasnt really a pro job on the intro screen. I dont fully understand the request on the search function. Is it possible to explain a bit more?
  7. Yup - Myself and Tracy normally drive up on the Saturday morning, spend the day around Chester and the local Shopping village, a meal in the evening with others and the Sunday meet/meal/drive. All in all a great weekend away.
  8. Its the same as "There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary, and those that dont"
  9. Sorry Dave... Mind you, give em enough rope....
  10. Im just intrigued as to how any bannings will take place without the necesary level of access to the admin control panel... You guys do make me smile
  11. Perhaps we could arrange a meet, on the border of the C-Charge zone - point our exhausts toward the zone and rev away? It was supposed to be "Congestion" charging.. How does a Porsche 911 (or 350z for that matter) congest the roads more than a similar sized electric car? Or is it now "Climate" charging instead of congestion, I dont remember the citizens of London voting for that......

  13. Out of interest which garage did you take it to? Im thinking of taking mine to Tims for its discs and pads, along with a couple of bottles of red and a crate of beer, eh Tim?
  14. Hi and welcome One of the best introduction pictures we've ever seen I think A possible candidate for next years calendar?
  15. Not unless there are any right hand drive Z owners in Switzerland, I beleive the OP needs a right hand drive door interior for some custom sound install.
  16. Sorry to hear the news Stuey, along with many others my condolences go to you and your family.
  17. Wouldnt surprise me if it was fitted with an 03 bumper from the factory. Ive seen a GT4 fitted with LED rear lights from new (early 05), and we didnt see those lights on the Z's in the UK until well into 2006.
  18. Having driven the Z round France and visiting other countries such as Italy, Germany, Belgium, France and Luxembourg, I believe the 350Z is fairly rare in the rest of Europe. Sadly I never made it to Switzerland, but if its anything like the rest of the tour we had, then you can go for days without seeing another 350z. Its great to make contact with other owners and clubs - if we can help each other out then thats even better
  19. Hi, obviously people may be a bit unsure about giving away chassis numbers of their cars on the internet, though some do have access to the service manual for the car and may be able to provide the specific page and part number that details the door cards.
  20. Hi and welcome Nice wheels!
  21. Why not go the whole hog and put a small 10 minute or so DVD together that can be played at some of the bigscreens they have for such things at shows London: Zedrush Limiter Manchester: Zedrush Limiter Digsy tmJak Chesterfield
  22. This is slowly heading in the wrong direction.....
  23. If this isnt a cue for Tim to brag then I dont know what is......
  24. Its either a charge for congestion or pollution - not both. The environment and all this "green" has presented political parties around the world with the bigest tax cow ever just ripe for milking. One has to wonder exactly where the money would come from if they got their way and we all drove electric cars. The closure to hybrids above seems to suggest one answer...
  25. My soon to be father in law suffered repeated vandalism of his property, and numerous times called the police who showed little interest at all, received a visit several weks after calling each time and nothing was ever done. So he took it upon himself to take photos of the scum doing it (aged in their early teens and lower). About half an hour later he had a visit from the boys in blue as there had been reports of him taking photos of children (that were made by the parents of one of the vile little walking abortions). He got a warning not to do it again and they would see what they an do about stopping the vandalism. Well the vandalism stopped alright, but my parents in law had to move home to stop it. The parents of the scum had a talking to, which resulted in nothing being done other than a very significant increase in the amount of abuse he received as the scum (and their parents) thought it funny that the police couldn't do anything. The effects of this harrasment had other effects on my parents in law which Id rather not go into, but to give you some idea, I was very close to sorting this out with a few cash in hand rewards to to the local "travellers" if they could assist in these scumbags suddenly dissappearing. The powers that be seriously need to get a grip on these issues and should not let any hippy human rights liberty crap get in the way. Just edited to add, I dont blame the boys in blue, but the suits writing the policies and targets for the boys in blue. Im sure many joined the force to do their bit to improve society and catch criminals and they will no doubt be as depressed as anyone, if not more so, that they cant do what they hoped they could.
