  1. Past hour
  2. We have had a club stand on a few occasions which I organised. Great event fyi.
  3. Mine is a 2015 so didn't have a problem. I'll have a look at the wiring diagrams and see if I spot the differences on an 09.
  4. Today
  5. Yep, original AC control box is still plugged into the OEM harness. It's the only unit retained from the stock equipment. The wire cutting and joining is only applicable to certain 09 models apparently.
  6. I didn't have to cut any harness. There is a white plastic box attached to the bottom of the head unit which is the AC control. Have you reused this? You want to.
  7. Hi Keith, Issue I have is the AC controls don't work properly. Now I know there is an alleged fix that involves cutting the supplied main harness and connecting white and green wires but the problem I'm having is that doesn't match any loom that I've been supplied. Thanks
  8. I fitted the one from AuCar a few months ago, they are all the same screen I think. This one. What problem have you got?
  9. Thanks Stewal and Wolf24h, I will have a go once I fix the Concentric Slave Cylinder bleed nipple, the clutch fluid was dirty so I wanted to bleed the system but end up damaging the bleed nipple, the threads are damaged ordered 6mm bleed nipple going to attempt repairing the thread on the Concentric Slave Cylinder and fit the nipple fingers crossed if I can if not I will need to replete the Concentric Slave Cylinder and if i am not wrong the transmission needs to come out
  10. Anyone out there fitted one of these screens to a 2009 270z? I've seen the write for the smaller screen but that doesn't help me and nifty city tech support are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard! Thanks

  12. Yesterday
  13. Push the clutch or brake pedal upwards when trying to turn the CC to see if the switches are the reason
  14. Go Japan! - Go Japan! https://share.google/prSylxiEvqOOFxsF5 Any one going? Or do we have a club stand?
  15. Hi mate have you spoke to torqen?
  16. Clutch and brake pedal switches are a good place to start. Then scan with a code reader: traction control, eml, abs faults etc usually disable cruise but would expect a dash warning light too......
  17. Is anyone running true coil overs and air cups for mainly street use? And if so what is your experience v full airlift? What brands did you choose? Thanks!
  18. Hi, still in the rebuild process for my Z and took it for its first test drive. I've got a big knock from the rear under braking. Lifted her up and looks like the diff bush is toast, strange as it was fine before and I never actually removed the diff 🤷🏻‍♂️. Does anyone have the Z1 bush removal tool I can hire? Seems mad to spend that much when someone may have one lying around. Cheers
  19. Last week
  20. All of the above did not work for me, have you found a way to fix this ?
  21. I notice that unit is wired Android Auto only, did you mount a port somewhere to plug into? And yeah, I've watched videos on the removal, but I'm cautious of the various ribbon connectors for AC and gauge panel. Perhaps there's nothing other than to do it though. Quick question on your point about the steering controls patch cable - could you point me to the one you're using?
  22. You won't know what's behind there till you take the console out, which is actually pretty easy to do, Youtube will help you there. I removed my Bose & fitted a double din Pioneer SPH-250DAB with the Incartec wiring harness, steering wheel patch lead & a Scoche adapter. All plug & play.
  23. Hey folks, 2004 350z owner here. I got the car at the start of the year, and it came already fitted with a Chinese no-name double DIN unit and a decent fascia mount. My 350z is the Bose upgraded model with the steering wheel controls. The good about the current setup: - it functions* and seems to be properly integrated with the amp, so I assume already has the right wiring harness in place - it supports wireless Android auto The bad: - the unit has terrible touchscreen sensitivity and calibration - it has this obnoxious sound sensitive led strip at the bottom - it doesn't seem to have been hooked up to the steering wheel controls (or it doesn't support them) - it freezes up after about an hour of use, rendering it terrible for navigation I want to replace it. But from watching videos, the fitting needs the centre panel pulled off and it seems like a real pig to do, so I only want to have to do it once. My problem is not knowing exactly what wiring harnesses or adapters are back there already, and I really don't wanna take it off just to see how it's currently installed. Maybe that's unavoidable. My priorities are: - a reliable stereo model - wireless Android auto - steering wheel controls I'd love some advice, recommendations for a stereo model known to work from others, and what I might or might not need adapter-wise. I'm kinda hoping that, since it's already working alongside the amp, there's a connect2 harness fitted back there already, but it's the lack of steering wheel controls that has me doubting. Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations!
  24. The top photo is of the engine with the inlet manifold which will come off and replace with the ITB'S. I'm hoping that it will be a fairly straightforward to do
