New Z owner in need of new Ypipe and other exhaust parts.
Kurtvalentino replied to LC350z's topic in Exhaust
Has this been snatched up mate? My happened one that came with the car needs gone. Lol -
Yep, those and the pump itself were my guesses as well but they all check out OK. If I'm correct BCM is on the righthand side of the drivers footwell? If there was water ingress I'd like to think I'd have noticed, as that's where I recently placed my crossovers. Its worth another look though. Are BCMs prone to issues on the 370?

ZMANALEX started following Wiper/washer issue
-
All parts are in stock, including BCM and wiper stalks. Just DM me if I can help further. Alex.

So. I finally got around to looking at this issue again. Turns out that the problem was the limit switch on the window motor assembly . The switch died, which led the controller to believe that the window was always closed. I replaced it with a temporary limit switch and problem solved. P.S. The limit switch is a Panasonic AV44-C for anyone that doesn’t want to buy a whole new assembly. https://za.rs-online.com/web/p/micro-switches/1738405

Stutopia started following Wiper/washer issue
-
Relay and fuse were my best guesses, any sign of water, either current or historic, around the BCM?
-
All other operations on the stalk work, is it likely or indeed common for just two functions to fail? The intermittent does work if I adjust the frequency dial, the wipers will do one cycle every time the rotary switch is moved.
-
Possibly the stalk control arm just a guess

Hi all, I've discovered I have no working intermittent wipers or washers, I say discovered as it was the first time I've had need to use them since buying the car. So far I have checked the fuse circuit, checked the washer relay activates and can pass current, checked the pump with direct voltage and all check out OK. Is there anything else I should be checking, or does that mean something in the BCM is buggered and a new one required? Thanks Robin

Thank you! You saved me from the misery of trying to unbolt the clutch master cylinder to replace it! One very important note to add. When it says to pump the clutch 5 times, the secret is not to be delicate; go ham on it like you're trying to give your clutch a happy ending 😆 use your hand and pump the clutch pedal hard and fast.

And we've got some bearings! Almost ready to put this thing together. 🤗 I bought myself a new daily! 😎 I think the Z is in good company with the GR Yaris. 😍 -
Lads, I’m wanting to run dual Mishimoto oil coolers not only for aesthetic reasons but also I drift the car so thinking it would be beneficial either way that’s the plan. I already have one Mishimoto oil cooler kit waiting to go on and know I need to get another 19row oil cooler to replace the power steering but does anyone know what line adapters etc need to be done and if anyone has done this already?

[SOLD] - Standard Cats for 2017 370Z Nismo

Sold - thread locked. -
Do you have a delete kit? Its annoying not being able to simply remove throttle bodies, and the engine bay is a total mess of hoses, whoever designed it has a hard on for hose. My Z is a summer toy only and garaged all year around so there is no risk of freezing / sticking.
-
Yeah they dont sell them new anymore so need to get hold of a used one. And the problem is that I dont think we ever had the R50 pathfinder here in Sweden so wont find one here. Tried some pathfinderforums aswell, hopefully someone has one for me. Thnx for the part number! // Jimmy

Oil dipstick and dipstick guide for R50 Pathfinder with vq35de!
Coz@TORQEN replied to Jimmy86's topic in Wanted
These look to be completely discontinued in Japan, you'll need to sort something custom out or do some hunting on eBay, Facebook etc. The part number is: 11140-4W001 - if this helps at all... Good luck! -

Hi! I'm currently swaping in a 350z Vq35 into my Ford Sierra trackday car. Someone on here sold me a upper oilpan for the pathfinder vq35de (rear sump) a couple of years ago. As I had not started the build back then i didnt realise the oil dipstick is in another spot on the pathfinder vq. The Pathfinder R50 is no existent here in Sweden as far as i know so thats why I'm asking here Does anyone have a dipstick and a dipstick guide for the Pathfinder R50 with the vq35de? Attached a picture thats showing what I'm looking for! Regards Jimmy!
