AliveBoy Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Surely it would be better to buy the wheels you want then adjust the tyres to fit? Not the other way around? 4 Quote
GT4 Zed Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 To increase oversteer or reduce understeer Though I'm pretty sure the op wants to do this for looks It would not affect TCS if the tyre rolling radius is within 2.5% of OEM for both axles. Quote
pjf1985 Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 (edited) I'm running RPF1's and have this fitment which I personally think is spot on... Fronts: 9.5J ET15 on 225/45/18 tyres Rears: 10.5J ET15 on 245/45/18 tyres Tyres have a bit of stretch, not sure if thats what you want though? Should be 245 front and 265 rear recommended sizes I think. Edited December 29, 2014 by pjf1985 1 Quote
GMballistic Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I like pjf's set up as above but personally OP I'd go for the 245 front and 265 rear as he recommends (not much stretch then), ...or possibly even a 275 on the rear as I prefer the staggered set up with nice wide rear tyres as it look's more "muscle" car imo. I'm currently running 245/35/19 ET20 front and 275/35/19 ET20 rear with Rota alloys. Quote
cooley Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 I am thinking 18x9.5 +15 all around, the best set up as i heard. Quote

mrt Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Currently running 255/19 front and 275 /19 rear on the 9.5 j and 10.5 j Those are the minimum widths recommended and should satisfy modded setup for insurance purposes. Fit well and just make legal tolerance on the arches .Also fitted Tein lowering springs 15 m front 20 rear. 1 Quote

That looks great, however 245 is the minimum tyre size for a 9.5" rim and also the preferred choice for the 350 Quote
