The advert doesn't say much and the garage didn't answer my email asking about the spec, so I guess they don't know the details.

Don't think so Lexx, from what I can find out about that member his Zed was a 2004. Also believe his was a single turbo build rather than twin.

Clark Motorsport may have looked after it if it was local. Fintray garage don't specialise in any particular car. They often have decent cars as well as rough ones but they're usually fairly honest in their descriptions & price IMO albeit they seem to be a little sparse with all of their descriptions on pheads stock list

Tis not mine, mine is single turbo. May be for sale soon as a running project has been laid up for 6 months now as I have to many projects and have bought a Supra

Hi Guys, i am the new owner of this car,

I bought it from Fintree garage and it is indeed a lovely car,

 

However i have a few niggly issues that some of you who know the car may be able to help me with.

1. there is a switch mounter on the driver side kick plate, I have no idea what it does

2. there is a green led on the driver side door pillar, i have no idea what this does either

3. it has a Haltech piggy back ecu but still throws up cel lights, ,

4. It hunts slightly when idling and sometimes cuts out a junctions when cold, is a complete dyno run , service and tune in order here.

 

 

Any informationon the car at all would be greatly appreciated, this is my first Zed coming from a 400bhp scooby and then a 420bhp supra.

I remember this car, the previous owner brought it in when we still had the workshop, extremely clean condition.

 

I think it would benefit from a full remap, I had suggested he take it to Russ at HQ but as far as I know the car never appeared there.

Could be worth a quick PM to "dawnc" - see what happens.

 

Last logged on Sep 14, so there's a chance, especially for the unknown lights etc. They might even be able to fill you in with some of your other questions, save spending a complete fortune on trying to fix something that isn't broken so to speak

Thanks guys, very helpfull indeed, i have pm dawnc and will most likely book into hq to get the niggles sorted out, having never used hq before how do they fair.
