Jimmy Posted September 29, 2014 Share Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) Hi everyone, My 350z is due a service now and I remember reading threads in the past that say we should be careful in which engine oil we use as some have bad effects? Mine is a 2004 reg with the DE engine and has done around 100,000 miles. Which engine oil would you recommend and why? I'm just asking for a straight forward answer, which engine oil is the best to use for a DE engine? Yes that will be fine, I always ran mine on Shell Helix semi synth 10W40, and as yous has 100k on the engine I would be inclined to run a slightly thicker oil IE 10W40 rather than 5 or 10W30.
