With your mods I would be happy with 330-340 at the fly

If it makes the car sharper and more responsive I think I'll be happy I'm not expecting big gains

I do hope it feels beter tho I've had a service including plugs so hopefully that will help

 

In blaming jaz if it dosnt lol he told me Sunday it was good on his 350z

Mark at abbey assured me they are on the side of caution with the tune. so hopefully the only pop will be coming out of the cobra

If it's going to go bang though chances are it's just as likely to happen on the road as it will on the dyno imo.

 

When my Impreza WRX engine went, ...both times, ...it was on the road and not the dyno. Also happened when not under heavy load.

I was under the impression that the uprev was a relitlvly safe method of freeing the 370 up a bit

It is imo. Wouldn't worry if I was you.

 

I didn't worry with my 350 Zed that's got a lot more years & miles on it then yours. Was a great improvement imo.

Any mapping is always a risk, as is dyno time. It's why they make you sign a waiver before going on a dyno.

 

If you have any worries at all, don't do it. On the other hand, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest as long as you go with a reputable tuner.

Mine survived, as have countless others on here and Mark has both the knowledge and monitors to forewarn of any impending issues.

 

That's not to say that siting in the car and experiencing the tune on rollers for the first time is not bum clenching.......so wear some brown trousers

She made a couple of hoses short of 300 at the hub

 

I think 340 flywheel

 

The tourqe steped Up nicely also

She definitely picks her feet up now

And on the most aggressive map the car rockets out of bends and islands etc

 

400 isn't a big amount considering the change it makes to the car

 

I'm happy with it anyway
