Darren350 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Hey guys, Here are some snaps of my car after using Dodo Juice Purple Haze. I think it really sets the car off great. These were done a few weeks ago so of course the car is filthy again. Will use Megs NXT this time to see what that can do! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 3 Quote

GIXXERUK Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 megs nxt metal polish, autosol etc they do look dirty ! if you have some wheel cleaner spray or iron x put that on and leave for a while and wash off before you polish, you may need wire wool but try the easy route first , tried a lot of metal polishes, not much between them it's down to elbow grease Quote

SJ350z Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Black cars are always hard to clean to a high standard I find. Looks like you did a great job 2 Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I use that wax as a daily. Try r222 concours look carnuba wax for that wow look. Trust me! Great value too. Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 R222 won't last as long. I only use it prior to meets or shows. Quote

GIXXERUK Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 My 2p love dodo supernatural , I've got r222 and purple haze, ESP good on black Quote
Stu_2424 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 What are people's thoughts on DoDos Diamond White? Obv wouldn't be applicable for the OP since his car is black but I used it on my GM and loved it, very easy to apply and buff off. Quote
-Bradders- Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 and the OP dont own the car anymore i dooo lol Quote
samsniss350z Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I use megs metal polish on my exhaust tips, but for the first clean after winter I use solvol as find it a little more aggressive this is then followed by megs. For the inside I use wire wool to start with the solvol and it brings them up a treat for the rest of spring and summer. Quote
roscopervis Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Megs Nxt wax is nowhere near as good as purple haze. Anyway, the finished look of the car comes 95% from the prep so a good polish and even a glaze if you're gonna continue with purple haze will work wonders. Megs #7 or Clearkote Red Moose Glaze under the wax will add wetness. Sent from my AT10LE-A using Tapatalk Quote
