Dblock Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Isn't that the new Impreza Evo XI They could call it Improve imprezza start IMp and evo backward. Improvo? imprevo that's it's imprevo sounds amazing. Subaru or misti il take offers on the rights to that. Insert dr evil face. Quote
GIXXERUK Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 It's ugly, looks dated and out of proportion, I think it's a desperate attempt to win back the rally fans that they lost with the last 'shopping car' incarnation Quote
GMballistic Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Oh dear. Volvo, meets Mitsubishi, meets Subaru, meets glue sniffer in "hall of mirrors". I haven't liked many Subaru's since the late 90's tbh. Quote
Ekona Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 305bhp, 290ft/lb, £29K. And it looks like that. Where do I sign up? Seriously, I'd be very happy with that assuming it still has unequal headers. Quote

GMballistic Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 ^^ "unequal headers" yes Dblock ~ classic Subaru boxer sound. Quote
Suits Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Where do I sign up? Seriously, I'd be very happy with that assuming it still has unequal headers. I don't think it does anymore . Quote
GIXXERUK Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Flat four is like a v twin, you can't beat that sound ! Quote
HARMLU Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Saw one the other day on the road. Does look a bit more bulbous than the Evo x in the flesh! Nice looking car and I'm glad they have moved away from the hatchback Quote
Ekona Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I don't think it does anymore . Serious?! Well f*ck, I'm out then. Quote

Suits Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I came VERY close to buckling and buying one of these before my 370Z. It was my teenage years pulling me towards it. In the end I walked away after sitting in it and seeing/feeling the interior. And yes, it was the white STi hatchback I wanted as the others just seemed to 'obvious' for me. Quote
HARMLU Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) hold on, aren't these different cars? edit: between neo's link and marzman's pic? Edited January 14, 2014 by HARMLU Quote

HARMLU Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 One's the concept. Or you've really missed the joke Wonder how I managed to see one on the road? They're not for sale until May... Maybe demo car perhaps? Quote
Ekona Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I did wonder that. Whilst it's not impossible you saw one, I must admit I think it's very unlikely since it's literally only just been launched for the first time anywhere at a car show. Quote

I promise you I saw one, 100% near Coventry. Was a silver one and the rear wing really stuck out and thought that must be the new scooby! Had a 63 plate. I'm guessing a demo for the sales people perhaps? Quote
