TomLum Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 So ive decided to go down the GT-R exhaust route. Managed to finally get my hands on one. Thought I would get a couple quick snaps to try show how wide this beast is! Now I need to find someone willing to cut and weld to fit the Zed Will the tips a good metal polish over the week. Quote

parello9 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Shame its not just the exhaust that makes it sound like this! Quote
TomLum Posted December 10, 2013 Author Posted December 10, 2013 Looks like a direct bolt on to me Are you keeping quad tips or going down to dual? Im going to go dual tips I think quad would look a bit much as I wont to keep the car looking OEM+ Nice man, see you took the plunge! You'll love it! Yep with your write up and photos it was enough to convince me! Was your hard to fabricate? Shame its not just the exhaust that makes it sound like this! Thats certainly not the sound im going for, Dont want the rasp. 'Scott_f91' has posted up a nice video of what the pipe sounds like mated with the oem system Quote
Stutopia Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I say don't cut it down, it's too pretty, make the car fit the exhaust. 1 Quote
R35LEE Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I am looking forward to hearing how this sounds when done Quote
Scott TMN Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Nice man, see you took the plunge! You'll love it! Yep with your write up and photos it was enough to convince me! It took me and my mate from about 10am-6pm, but we didnt have a clue what we was doing to be fair haha Just uploaded a quick clip to my thread, excuse the camera rattle and black screen lol should give you a better idea of what to expect Quote

Wow that is wide! I recon those tips would poke out lovely through the rear side vents on a chargespeed bumper!! Good luck with the mod as the sound is awesome. Quote

Quote
Scott TMN Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I would say its oem sounding in the respect it's in no way droney, and has no rasp, yet is louder then oem. (For me personally I think it's how it should of came) but I would say it give a different tone to the standard zed zorst Quote
TomLum Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 Dropped the car off this morning with 'Custom Performance' should be ready for about 4pm with the exhaust on! Excited. Quote
Daryl Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I just thought the Z in the picture was just far away! Jesus, that is one wide car. Good on you, hope you get it to fit alright. Quote
ddcboyle Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Cant wait to see a pic How is it being fitted? Still 4 tips and just cut the exhaust to fit zed? Quote
TomLum Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 Cant wait to see a pic How is it being fitted? Still 4 tips and just cut the exhaust to fit zed? I will get one up tonight when I go pick it up. No its being choped up and welded with 2 tips to look OEM, just with the bigger GTR tips. I know some might think its boring but im didnt want the in your face look! Quote
TomLum Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 The guy thats doing the work is the creator of this beast..http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/car-reviews/15021/parradine-525s Its just sat in the corner of his workshop gathering dust along with his other toys! Quote
