What a shame! One of my all time favourite childhood TV programmes with the Capri he drove being one of my 'must have' cars as a kid. By the time I was old enough to drive the capri had been and gone! Now its a retro item! RIP Mr Collins - you inspired me to 'drive it like I stole it'

I posted on my Facebook my obituary to Lewis, who I knew well, I was at LWT

 

when we did the Professionals, shared many a pint with him both at the Studio in

 

South Bank and the Old Bull and Bush in Hampstead where he lived. He then moved to LA

 

and we kept in touch. He's not been well for nearly 5 years, that dreaded cancer again.. RIP my friend.

 

RIP my friend, I have raised a glass to my old mate.

As above, grew up with the professionals, dolomite , TR7 then Capris.

My first two cars were Capris.

R.I.P. still plenty of fans out there, you will be missed.

Was very sad to hear this , also a fan of the Professionals , subsequently had a few Capris both 3.0l and 2.8's

 

That "who dares wins" movie was a bit pony though
