A38 may seem like an unusual name for a club restaurant and concert venue, but that is not all that is unusual; this hub of cool culture is located in Buda beside the Danube and Pet?fi Bridge. More surprisingly, the whole culture and entertainment centre are housed in a converted cargo ship originally built in Ukraine in 1938. The upper decks have bars and a restaurant with excellent views of the Danube. As a concert venue, the hold has been re-fitted with excellent acoustics and all the latest in audio technology, this has helped them attract and impressive array of stars from all round the world as well as stars from Hungary.

Ocean waves are transverse waves that carry huge amounts of energy across the surface of the sea as they move up and down. A wave 3 m (10ft) high carries enough energy to power around 1,000 lightbulbs in every 1 m (3 ft) of its length.

Since 2008, about 60% of Heathrow airport light bulbs have blown, and not a single one has been replaced due to the height of the roof etc for an ordinary janitor/maintenance man to fix. A specialist team will be booked in next year to carry out the work.

Philips manufacture and install more runway lights than any other company (I think)

I was on the team that built 2 airports in Nigeria ... the first in Yola (Jimeta) where I was Materials Engineer on the runway construction and the second where I was Resident Engineer on the Terminal Buildings project ... 1978 - 1882
