I am going to get it geo'ed at the same time, well after a couple of hundred miles... Then I will be buying some sticky tyres.. I have a track day booked for april so I will probably also be changing the pads, fluid and hoses Quote
GMballistic Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 ^^ Nice. Even the packaging look's cool. 1 Quote
GIXXERUK Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 mmm kawasaki green, they are a nightmare to fit it will take all of 2 mins for both !! I did the air filter on 1 series bmw yesterday and it took over an hour, most of the engine plastics including the scuttle had to come out 1 Quote
Suits Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Cool man, good updates. Be interesting to see the readings after you've put the spacers from the geo. I've heard a lot of contradictory reports about the effect of spaces on the alignment. Quote
Richie-B Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 Drop ins dropped in at last. Now just need to weather to wise up. They will defiantly be better than the oem paper jobs 1 Quote
PS13Silvia Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Out of interest, does the intake sound change at all with those filters in? Any more of a grunt? I'm assuming any sound change, if any, would be minimal? Quote
Richie-B Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Not by much if it has but I do think slightly. May just be placebo effect though Quote

I'm assuming any sound change, if any, would be minimal? I had the HKS air filters and didn't notice any difference in terms of sound and performance. It did bump my insurance up a little bit so went back to OEM ones. Quote
