Alex57 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying a 350Z, I've been driving an RX8 for the last 2 years and looking for something a little different. I'd want to modify it to make it look a little more aggressive and update the interior, mainly the stereo, I find while the car still looks modern, a tape player is a little old school for me now. Has anyone done a tablet install to run media and OBD data systems from? I'm in Perthshire so finding a 350z up here worth looking at is proving tricky, looks like I'm going to have to travel. How good are Nissan dealers with these cars? As speaking from experience Mazda technicians know nothing about rx8s and a full Mazda service history means nothing to these vehicles. Hopefully I'll get to have a good poke around soon, cheers for any advice offered. Quote
Stutopia Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 and there's a coule of tablet installs if you have a quick search (the nexus 7 is roughly the same size as the cubby), I'm investigating one myself right now actually. Good luck finding your Zed, seems to be a few north of the border. Careful on modding round here though, very conservative bunch who only really go for OEM Quote

I wouldn't go for anything extreme, just subtle mods, lowered, spacers, conservative kit, mild spoiler, eyelids etc.. hensh65 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 06 is facelift, 07 hr (watch for late registered facelifts) 280 ish for pre 06 475 for after. Personally if you are happy to pay the tax save up and get the HR if not then 55 plate is what to look out for. Quote
