Lacky Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Hello all. I'm Lachlan. From Edinburgh but am usually in the Bedford/hitchen area. So within a couple minutes of a 350z being advertised on piston heads, I messaged the seller. A couple hours and a lot of information and negotiating later, we settled on a price and I went to view with intent to buy the morning after. Instantly fell in love. It's a black facelift '06 with black leather interior. Completely standard. I am extremely happy with it! Been on the forum a while just searching and learning. A couple of mates have been giving me loads of advice too. Coops (carboncoops) and Lee from falcon performance. Future mods for my new zed is Stubby aerial K&n filter element Nismo cf b-pillar Nismo gear knob Berk hfc Cobra y-pipe Some sort of back box (lee has one for me apparently) Plenum spacer (and polished or powder coated plenum) Eibach springs Probably in that order too And after all that I will be thinking about taking a trip to abbeymotorsport for a map Anyway. The only pictures I have are stolen from the advert. I will take some decent pictures when it's not raining. And every time I add something. Quote
Neilp Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Welcome to the club mate! Glad you found a nice car and the facelift interior is definately worth the extra premium Quote
Lacky Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 Thank you all for the warm welcome. The drivers seat is definitely a nice place to be. The other 350's I was looking at were pre facelifts and had cloth interior. Glad I waited for this facelift to come up. Does the Z on the rear strut cover come off? I was going to carbon wrap the silver cover but couldn't really see a way to get the Z off. Or should I just mask the Z and spray it!? Quote
Neilp Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 You need to remove all the plastic surround and then you can remove the full silver panel. This will then give access to remove the zed Quote
