Japfest unlucky or what.

When this appeared in the forum I added my name to the list and eagerly awaited the time to tick away until the festival.

 

Then the wife arrived home from a shopping trip

and announced that she had booked us a holiday for us in May.

 

"WHEN in May". I asked.

 

We fly out on the 10th. Was her reply.

I rushed to forum to check the date of japfest.

Her excuse was she forgot I was going to and had bought a ticket.

 

After coming to terms with the knowledge that I wouldn't be going and would miss out at all those Z's in one place

 

I posted that I had a forum ticket for japfest up for grabs.

This was very quickly snapped up by a forum member.

Then last week the ticket for the forum stand at japfest arrived which I posted off to Jordan.

 

Now I'm a normal (IMO) hard working bloke and don't get much luck in life.

 

But yesterday I got an email saying congratulations you have won two tickets to japfest and that they were on there way.

 

 

"WOULD YOU ADAM AND EVE IT"

 

They arrived this morning.

(I've already given them away so no PM's please)

 

Would you call this lucky or unlucky?

That would be good luck as that would make it possible for me to go to japfest , but the likely chances of a coup in Menorca are slim.

Shame about the tickets but having your wife book you a holiday isn't really what I'd call "bad luck" (unless the plane crashes and you become stranded on an island with no roads and no Zs)

My son and his mate are going with the tickets I won.

I've told him to say hello to you all and take some photos of the cars in the forum stand.

 

So if you see him be nice he's a bit shy.

Would you believe it the first car that caught my eye in the resort of cala gadana was a white 350z. See my spotted and flierd post for pictures.

 

Don't forget guys post lots of pictures of Japfest so I can view while sunbathing.
