tez162003 Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 http://www.news.com.au/world-news/world-trade-center-slowly-nearing-completion-as-new-york-remembers-911/story-fndir2ev-1226471727304 With the tower set to open next year, I was just curious to see what you guys think to: If your work told you tomorrow you were being giving a great promotion but it was on the 99th floor of this building. What would they have to pay you or do for you to make you willing to work there? After all this building surely has to be the number one terrorist target in the world? Quote
spursmaddave Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Wouldn't bother me, if you worry too much you would never get out of bed Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 You can't let those f*ck!ng cowards scare you! I'd work there, on any floor. Quote
rtbiscuit Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 as dave said, leaving the house is a risk, if people refuse to work or go to work in the new building for fear of it happening again; well then the terrorists won. their biggest weapon is fear, so if you don't fear them or what they can do they can't be as effective. Flex Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I'd want a million a year just to climb all those steps! Quote

Fodder Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Wouldn't bother me, if you worry too much you would never get out of bed I'm with SMD on this one. Quote
kbeast35 Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I agree with all the above comments, you can't let what happened, as terrible as it was, dictate where you will/won't work in the future on the off chance it could happen again Quote
JetSet Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Wouldn't bother me at all, but I'd be interested to know the opinions of those who survived 9/11. Pete Quote
