Can't add a lady unfortunately, my Sis lives in Hove (which is around 300 miles away from me) and my missus is 23 which won't help the premium a bit!!

I added Mrs Sarnie when she was 23 and it dropped the price. The important variable that your adding is that she is a woman and statistically they are safer drivers than us :)

It wont matter that she lives 300 miles from you as your adding her as a named driver incase she ever needs to use it.

They are very good, make sure you got a thatcham approved alarm brings it all down quite a bit. Good thing is with them, you can go on someone elses name and still claim no points for yourself

i did have three policys with them and you get extra discount for every policy held but had to change my van policy as they took off my named driver and never told me and when i went to insure it again they wouldnt let me have another driver on the policy???? so had to switch

esure's website stated they couldn't help and put me thru to their sister site first alternative

just tried to get a quote from direct line and it brings up a message saying if you do not have a tracker fitted they won't insure for theft! Is that because I've done it for an import and if so what's the difference?

just managed to haggle my own renewal quote stuffing it to the good lads at Adrian Flux

Last year's quote £906 (all mods insured and covered like for like)

This year's with 1 extra NCB £931 (taking the ****? ok then...)

Went comparing and got a cheaper one for £770 (mods not included)

Went back to Adrian Flux telling them that I would have swapped.... they promptly lowered their renewal to... £760 (all mods included, and covered like for like). Saving £160

Just goes to show that they try it on sooo much!

I'm looking for insurance, 37 years old and live just outside cambridge.

Been a company car driver for 10 years, with one at fault claim this year when i skidded on snow in a garage and one not at fault claim last year when someone hit me while i was stationary at a T-Junction

0 points, no convictions

so far

Admiral - £1300

Bell - £990

Direct - £942

Surely i must be able to get this cheaper somewhere? tried first alternative and they wouldn't even touch me
