Hi all,

Have cracked the screen on my laptop any ideas of fixing it??

its a Hewlett Packard probook 6560b

is just a replacement screen needed? its a work one so any computer fixers kindly step forward :lol:

any help appreciated

You should be able to get a new screen for it. If your work has support with it, a nice man or woman should come to you and replace it.

If not just phone round the computer repair places :shrug:

well after the broken dongle..charger..inbuilt laptop mouse..running over compnay phone and the petrol bill i gave them for having to take the zed to birmingham for a last min meeting

they aint happy :lol:

I did one last year as the Mrs crushed the screen with her mighty hand, just remember how you take the old one out, take pictures if you have to and be really light fingered and you'll be fine but if you're that clumsy just take it to a local computer shop they probably charge you screen + an hours labour max.

Why can't work know, accidents happen? :)

 

Because filling the 'details of incident' part of the insurance claim for with 'violent fall whilst performing self prostate massage to www.dudesinrubber.com' is inadmissible if used twice.
