Just spotted this while walking up my driveway. :scare: the car hasen't been driven since i came back from oulton park 2 weeks ago.

 

Sorry for crappy pic, only have my work phone as a way of getting a pic onto my comp.

 

Anything to put my mind at ease / prepare for big expendature will help :surrender:

 

Pic is taken from just behind the nearside rear wheel. I'm sure whatever that is should be attached...

auto headlamp adjuster thingy i think :) if it is ....i had the same problem once i lowered the zed...held together now with the help of the trusty old cable ties. :blush:

Zugara, all HIDs must have auto leveling so you don't dazzle oncoming cars if you have Chris Moyles in the boot. :thumbs:

 

Realise that, but I thought the levelling system was part of the ballast unit? Can't see why there would be a levelling unit at the back end of the car.

Just a really peculiar place to put a part that relates to headlights :doh:

 

 

Makes perfect sense as it is mechanically hooked up to the the rear ARB drop link and electronically to the headlamp levelling.

Its main function is to lower the beam when the boot is loaded :thumbs:

zipties should be kept by every garage....its the ultimate repair tool.
