Guest prescience Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 SF C's are very popular in the US. And in Diamond Black. Seen loads of pictures on my350z.com. Common as much mate. Not as common as 6-series though Nice choice sarnie, looks top with the UY
Kev946 Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Not as common as 6-series though Watch this space........ ;
Sarnie Posted May 3, 2007 Author Posted May 3, 2007 Nice wheels. And no lowering needed imho Thanks for all the input guys Looking at this (gratuitous) pic...... I don't think I am going to bother lowering it
ir_fuel Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Indeed, lowering it would spoil the uniform spacing between the wheel arch and the tire imho.
Sarnie Posted May 3, 2007 Author Posted May 3, 2007 Indeed, lowering it would spoil the uniform spacing between the wheel arch and the tire imho. I think it needed lowering before: But not now
Beavis Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 No lowering needed IMO Tein Springs anybody £5 ?? £6 ??
Removed Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Sarnie, btw, the space between the wheelarch and the tyre is exactly the same with your old and new wheels
Kev946 Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Sarnie, btw, the space between the wheelarch and the tyre is exactly the same with your old and new wheels Not neccesarily true. His new wheels are so much heavier than the old ones that the suspension is sagging.....
Guest prescience Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Sarnie, btw, the space between the wheelarch and the tyre is exactly the same with your old and new wheels Vertical distance true - but since the wheels appear (from the photos) to stand wider in the arch horizontally, the absolute gap between the wheel arch edge and the tyre (at the nearest point) is probably less - this appears the case from the photos and is also why it looks less IMO
Sarnie Posted May 3, 2007 Author Posted May 3, 2007 Sarnie, btw, the space between the wheelarch and the tyre is exactly the same with your old and new wheels I know, but now it doesn't look like it need lowering
Digsy Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Sarnie, btw, the space between the wheelarch and the tyre is exactly the same with your old and new wheels I know, but now it doesn't look like it need lowering I think that's the point really. I'd leave well alone, mate.

H5 Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Wheels look great Sarnie, top choice. Although to buck the trend, from the pictures it looks like it needs lowering at the rear to me.....
Ian Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 No lowering needed IMO Tein Springs anybody £5 ?? £6 ?? £10??
