Finally home after 4 days of fun

 

1,085 miles

 

£276 of fuel

 

More than a few slaps from the missus, mainly for going round corners and over bumps too quick

 

Got sunburnt at Portmeirian

 

Met some great new people

 

Met some old familiar faces

 

Ate far too much, even a soggy yorkshire pud

 

Still haven't stopped smiling

Managed to get through £258 worth of fuel roughly with half a tank left. Worked out mileage to be just over 800 miles for the Wales event

I don't worry about mpg, at least 400 was on the motorways there and back, the rest were drives and a bit of travelling as we stayed an extra day, the missus did 60 miles through Bala :no1:

It was the 10 laps of the evo triangle for 'test purposes' that did it

that was the best fun i have had in ages.

 

i was getting an average of 24mpg from door to door. about 800miles i think.

 

the EVO triangle was awesome. very, very quick round there. 3rd and 4th was the best

I should hope so - you ought to have seen how many roadworks there were around in March when we wee doing one of the recces as Councils used up their year-end budgets

ChrisS can explain that - something to do with crossing 3 County boundaries, as I recall.

 

But if you kept to the middle of the road, when it was safe to do so, it was fine
