eviljoker7075
Hi guys, I'm thinking of going for some darker wheels, does anyone have any pictures or examples for me to see? I have a standard grey body and the rays alloys. I'm getting them refurbished and am considering putting my mark on the car, but don't know how it would look. Dave J
Black wheels on a grey or silver car look great in my personal opinion!!

Dave J
Here are a couple of pics of one of my cars, it's a Cooper S, one pic with silver then with the same wheels refurbed in gloss black
eviljoker7075
Mmm, I'm not convinved now. I think it'll look a bit out of place without other complementing parts (like tinted windows or black skirts)... Anyone tried bronze...?
Chee350
I've got my rays done in anthracite and they look top notch (in my opinion) I'd just suggest trawling the Internet for pics. Doesn't need to be Z's, just to get an idea of colour combinations.

Builder49
Not got the rays, but as Im looking to pick some up in the near future thought I'd play around with the standard Nissan 18's, so they are being sprayed Anthracite in the next couple of weeks, along with the rear strut and the discs and the door handles. Pics to follow once completed.... BTW, car is in Black with black lights. Gunna look completely naff or totally Ninja......
docwra
Anything can look good, Id go bronze myself though. Some to think about: More on www.rimtuck.com
dave1221
i personally think for the standard 18" Rays they look far better in silver. the aftermarket ones above do look nice darker, particularly these:
FUG
dark alloys dont show the dirt and brake dust as much

John tarantula
Hhmmm was thinking of fixing mine up a bit and then painting them (standard 18†alloys) but think they look a bit lost / undefined when they’re too dark?Maybe white or an equally bright colour. Not sure how they’d look on a GM Zed though!
D-Rage
Just got mine last week matt bronze
