No doubt those of you who have been to Abbey Motorsport have seen there race car.

yesterday they were in action with 2 cars at Santapod.

A yellow Skyline and the 350Z twin turbo 1850bhp that you will know doubt know.

Just thought I would share some pictures of the day with you Petrol heads.

Sorry for the poor pictures but I forgot my Camera and had to make do with IPhone.

The last shot was as it pulled away.

It was so fast the camera could not keep up.

I think its rather cool.

My mate did record the run but I cant get it off his phone for some reason.

A very wet day and frustration long waits.

I trust all went well today and good luck for tomorrow.

cripes just one of those turbos could power a airbus! looks like an impressive bit of kit, would be interesting to know what it takes to get to 1800horsepower!

another thing ive noticed (was the same on a drag Supra i saw on speedhunters) is that the lights and grills are just stuck on, and other than the air intake for the turbos, there is no open front aperture... how do these things stay cool?!?

I trust I am posting in the right place.

Just found these little additions in my email:)

Press on the pictures and pump up the volume.

Enjoy!

The yellow Skyline.

The 350 Burn out.

And the run itself. I think she coughed and lost half a second!

I put these in the Modified Cars section so I am to blame if its wrong:)

The main thing is everybody enjoyed themselves and that's all that counts.

They are indeed carbon stick on and look very good.

In front of the manifold is a water tank and they were pumping warm water through it to keep the engine warm.

I am pretty sure when Mark gets back he will answer your questions.

It appears Abbey now have a Face Book page so the quality of the shots and tecno stuff will

all be on there:)

The only regret I have was that I did not book into a B&B for the weekend.

It is certainly an adrenalin ride at Santapod but please drive home carefully:scare:

Just to spare a thought for the other guys who were on the drag and had their dreams dashed by the weather.

Most of the bikes slipped and skidded and lost a lot of time.

This one didn't and although he does not look fast did the quarter in I believe 163mph.

The average seemed to be around 147mph whilst I was watching.

In the drizzle as well.

Its not very good and some guy got in the way at the end but well done.

I have found something out with Uprev we can make launch control using the Cruise switch and multi map control.

Hmm interesting :drive1

After the wedding I think it will be HFC time and tune to accomodate, we can have a play then
