AK350Z Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 The first day off shift, awake to great temps and a blue skys. Time to get the Zed out! I had a great time burning off £40 of super unleaded by heading out to Ullswater and doing a nice loop of the Kirkstone pass and Ambleside. Part of the reason was to experiment with a few positions with the GoPro, which I'll hopefully post up tomorrow. It was also great to have nice quiet midweek roads too - easter is just around the corner, and the hordes are due soon! View Larger Map Spot the camera mount Quote
Chris`I Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Looks great bud, better not get used to it though, it will be caravan central soon! Quote
Paddy78 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Car looks stunning as ever + 1 to that! Love the Zed in Red (Although I also love it in pretty much any colour) Quote
Dynamic Turtle Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Very nice. ever though of swapping the calipers for red or black ones? Quote
Humpy Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Looks very nice mate A great day for a drive out for sure. Quote
Bockaaarck Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Great footage, perfect day for scooting out around the lakes, car looks gorgeous as always Quote
AK350Z Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 Very nice. ever though of swapping the calipers for red or black ones? Yeah, I wouldn't mind some matching red ones, I'll maybe get round to it some day... Quote

andyvvc Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Which GoPro and mount are you using? Videos look very stable! EDIT - stoopid question - camera name is on the first video lol! http://gopro.com/cameras/hd-motorsports-hero-camera/ Quote
AK350Z Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 its the motorsport hero suction mount, as long as you have a clean smooth surface and a damp sucker, it won't fall off! (hopefully!) Quote
andyvvc Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 What did you 'suck' it to for the internal shot? Quote
AK350Z Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 First internal shot is attached on the back window, the last one on the front windscreen by the rear view mirror. Shame the scenery is over exposed on the first one. Quote
bronzee Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Great position for the camera by the wheel. Those Gopro's look pretty cool. Was looking at them here the other week. What are they like to use in practical terms? Quote
AK350Z Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 The new version two is dead easy, loads of mounting options and better picture than any other sports cam. You pay for it mind! Quote
