DoogyRev Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Only a very tiny one. Have to admire the workmanship that has gone in to this Quote
MFM Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Thanks for the link. It was wonderful to watch. Mike Quote
sparky370z Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 seen that before but watched it again because its so cool. shame it doesnt run proper fuel tho. Quote
ioneabee Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 as I was watching it, I though there is no way this is going to run......its just a model !! wow - what is fueling it ? Quote
Chris`I Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 wow - what is fueling it ? Nothing combustible Quote
rtbiscuit Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 i'd say its running off nitro fuel same stuff you use in little single piston RC car engines Quote
sparky370z Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 i think its just air. not nitro. he would have clouds of smoke comin out of it. trust me!! Quote
rtbiscuit Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 i was trying to work out what was driving the fly wheel at the end, as there was no drive belt visible, and just the little white hose. but i suppose air could be right, as you say there is no cloud of smoke. but the exhaust is making a noise which is more than just being driven like earlier when it was on the drill. either way a clever bit of tool work. sparky370z Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 either way a clever bit of tool work. +1 Quote
MFM Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 The fuel would have to be a petroil mix to lube everything. I thought it was amazing how the crankshaft was turned and honed - great skills working at that scale. Quote
wackosr Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Wow, that is amazying. Would look great on my desk!! (But pretty distracting) Quote
Chris`I Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 i think its just air. This. They are just blowing compressed air through it Quote
