Seriously - what a good day - lots of car chat, lots of cars, and the parade laps were fun - good job they didn't allow more than two, I was just getting the hang of being pace car around Goodwood and letting loose down the pit straight!! (I think the parade lap was as fast as some of the public track time in places!!!) Great to meet you all on my Z outing devut, looking forward to doing it again!! Pictures and vids to follow... But you know what they say, quality over quantity Good to meet the gang. Even the missus had fun Parade laps were excellent, shame we didnt get any more. Removed Posted June 3, 2007 Author Share Posted June 3, 2007 what a day!!!! thanks to all the members who turned up, great great day out!!! 1- I am on fire 2- I have quite a lot less mm rubber on the front tyres from the track time 3- I can't drive for @*!#, (first ever track experience) , nearly went off at the end of the main straight! since then was so slow I was getting passed by all sorts, but the only 350z in my group who passed me was steve-b (and in my group there was fierce donkey with his 600 hp beast, 350doc and a few more ) but the best bit was 2 guys when I went back to the Z enclosure "have you got a supercharger on??? No, why? Couldn't you see I was so slooooow? Your car sounded awesomeeeee!!! ) 4- the parade lap was cool, but slooow! 5- I told Chris I had totalled the Z at the last lap and the holiday in France was off 6- I got a major stone chip on the bonnet 7- was nice to meet urbanmiyth and fiercedonkey with their monster machines 8- great to see the biggest 350Z meet to date in the UK 9- Thanks to Steve Burns who organised the whole thing! well done! 10- On my way back home, I caught a major downpour but my car survived, I was worried the engine bay would get flooded but there were no signs of wetness Glad to have met so many nice people, next for me is to get some driver training Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
