A Nice Zed! 9k max

Hey guys, having been searching high and low for a 350z I'm becoming a bit disheartened!

I'm looking for either Gun Metal Grey, Black or White (might consider Azzure). Coupe not convertible

My budget is 9k

I've been to see quite a few and all of them have had pretty major scratches etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated…never know if anyone here is thinking about selling ;)

I'm in Fife/Dundee and often in Edinburgh and Glasgow. My work takes me all over the UK so will travel if the price is right!

shouldn't be difficult to find one in your budget, most of the zeds for sale are under 9k, its worth travelling a bit maybe down south to get exactly what you want.

its a buyers market at the moment. so don't settle for something 2nd best to what you actually want.

Don't be put off by the import thing.

I have an import and it cost no more to insure than a UK car. There are loads of specialist insurers these days, getting cover is easy.

+1

Imports defo dont cost more to insure

Doogyrev has a very very nice example of a spotless, well cared for Zed for sale.........

He kindly got in touch but the issue I have is that anything past the 276bhp versions pushes the insurance to an unaffordable level1 :(

Take a couple of spark plugs out

Bobby its good that you're thinking ahead regarding insurance  But if this is such an issue not sure how on earth you think you'll manage the upkeep of a 5+ year old 3.5L performance car  Don't get me wrong - not trying to ridicule you - but do not underestimate the upkeep costs even for day to day non track use :)

If you are prepared to travel for your car then you should find the right one at the right price. I went to Leeds from Glasgow for mine. I paid a little over the market value because it was pretty low mileage and I was really really precise in the trim I wanted, and it also came with full Nissan service history and a few extras like parking sensors, bluetooth adapter and cargo net which isnt bad to have when trying to re-sell.

Totally understand what you're saying mate.

Because I'm just turning 21 this month and have 0 no claims bonus my insurance for what will be 2 cars (keeping the old bravo at least until the middle of next year) is around 2500 (yeah I know, painful!).

I'm in a fortunate position in that I have a great job especially for my age and because I'm away a fair bit due to it, I still live at home and therefore have no bills to pay :D

So while I know up keep for a Zed will be expensive I'm confident I can easily cover it…however, I'm not in a position to shell out any more for insurance as a one off!

Good luck with your search. I'm in the hunt for a Zed too and all the advice I've had so far is to be fussy and get exactly what you want in terms of spec, milelage, colour etc etc. No point comprimising, it will only tarnish your ownership in the long run

I've only been seriously looking for about a week and ive found so many cars that very nearly almost fit what i'm looking for, so I'm confident that in a few weeks the perfect one will pop up at the right price :D fingers crossed anyhow hehe
