Grew up with Jim'll fix it, he just couldnt fix this one. Totp too. Sad Day indeed.

 

Raised a huge amount for charity in his life and enjoyed every minute of it.

R.I.P. My favourite memory of his show was when he fixed it for the kid to drive the bat mobile - epic!!!!

A very memorable figure. Didn't he also do like a load of marathons even in the later parts of his life. I always remember his "now then now then now then"

I didn't grow up with him but obviously know of him, seems we're left with some really poor presenters these days, it's a shame. He seemed like a really generous guy. RIP.
