  1. Hi, Congrats on the purchase. I sold her about 2 years ago now and regretted it ever since. It is indeed my old car. Still got the wheels and the logos I see. If you decide to sell her then il take it off you in a heartbeat! When I sold her she had two keys. I may have the chaps details that bought it off me il look them up. Good luck and offer is there. Lol
  2. Cheers all, good to be back in the fold as it were...... Im so glad to have her back and its like shes a brand new car! Looks new and drives like she just left the factory. To be brutally honest it handles the power brilliantly! With the new Quaife diff it just grips the road. Roughly 4 seconds to 60. Hard to explain but one happy chappy.
  3. Prior to taking the car to Devils the car had been to the bodyshop for a complete respray and a new rear suspension assembly. New RS wheels and new goodyear F1 boots. So looked mint on the outside so deserved of a new heart so to speak. This left the front wishbones, polybushes, a+k tie rod ends and camber adjust lower ball joints, driveshafts, RS internals, block mod, cambelt, oil, coolant, intercooler with big boost pipes, group A filter, crossover pipe, RS turbo, complete set of silicone hoses, oil breather kit, anembo plenum, 750cc injectors, RS Clutch and Quaife diff, Full RS sensors inc ABS module, 1.8 bar boost pod, plus i probably forgot loads and finally the Revo 4+ map onto RS ecu......................... old and new intercooler New shiny plenum and intercooler 750cc injectors Air filter is huge Engine out and Checking liners for cracks and then block mod to safeguard the future of my engine. Wow that was hard work thinking about whats been done let alone fitting it all!. So onto the results........... Holy shiny bags!!! Amazing, no other words for it! Firstly I noticed a Lower pitched grumble from the exhaust, and the sound of the Group A getting ready to suck in a small child! Then onto the drive, Unbelievable! The clutch has made a huge difference especially with the diff. It was slightly wet and I gave her a little welly, well a lot actually and damn! No wheel spin it just put the power down on the road. I was shocked completely. 0-oops in literally seconds. She now corners like shes on rails, No wobble from the old bushes and driveshafts as i remembered. Point and Shoot! The power is not majorly aggressive but properly strong. Hard to explain really, instant power when you put the foot down and she pulls and pulls and pulls a bit more......... With no loss of traction to speak of. The drive home, for as long as i remember with no wobbles vibrations etc, was a total pleasure! and quite quick too! lol The Power is now just under 430 Bhp and 500lb/ft. She went in with just under 320 bhp and 410lb/ft So massive gains! I still have to go back for a final tweak to the Map and the SPS. And after some issues with the Cheap ebay recirc valve??? GRRRRRR Im gonna have to get a forge one! and finally swap out the brake lines and fluids that there wasn't enough time to complete. So all in all im a very happy bunny and to be honest there is very little of the original mechanical parts left! lol Thanks for looking and if anyone wants to know anymore please ask.
  4. Cheers graham, your a good man! We kinda need a family room as we will all come so are looking at the travel lodge down the road. If we have a Z by then we will bring both! I will keep you posted.
  5. You could share our room as long as you promise not to bring anything to hit me with Sent from the golf club... Like a child lol
  6. I want my old car back! We compare all the ones we've seen to her and all disappointing in comparison. Sad to say. Sarah is thinking of 370 but more than I dare to spend at present.
  7. Good to hear Iain, it's been to long. Also .....when are we having that BBQ to celebrate your pond or should I say lake lol....... Rearing to get behind the wheel of a Z again! Well, we bought the BBQ and completed the pond. I Worked whilst the sun shone and then the rains hit and haven't stopped! Will defo sort something out this summer! Don't suppose Rosie has been topless in the last several months.
  8. Cheers mate, I've missed being in the fold! And the good friends I made here. I've been looking since about October for a decent roadster and I've seen about 4 come up for sale. Really wish I hadn't sold mine! At the time it was the right thing to do, but it wasn't! The focus is a real beaST but a lot of the owners are well.......... Shocking!! Can't beat this forum! Such a friendly group of chaps and lasses. May end up in a 370 if a 350 doesent come up. Watch this space!!!!
  9. Enjoy fella's. Il hopefully be back in a zed next year in time for Wales 2013 I was hoping to make an appearance for a bevy but family commitments pending this weekend. Maybe pond 2012 will be my next event. Looking forward to the pictures.

  11. Was great to see you guys and making the effort in the rain. cheers adrian and taras good to see you again and cars are looking and sounding sweet! Darren and graham two stunning zeds! Both with some quality rims making an appearance. Great catch up. We ended up eating lunch in the clouds which was a little unexpected..... Will, thank you so much for letting me at your Rosie. Simply stunning and the new exhaust will wear in nicely. Sounding great already! It's a different beast to the 350ZR. More refined with a LOT more power! One lucky chap! Il be looking to rejoin the Z ownership once the house is completed. I'm gonna have to get shares in a tyre company soon, done 2k on a set of tyres that will need changing very soon! I will keep you posted on the lake opening. BBQ and drinkers next time! Dave. Yeah you! See you soon buddy. Take a day off and pay me a visit, you are always welcome! As you all know. I may even score a weekend in a 370 for the next gig.

  14. Thank you very much chaps and chappesses lol. Indeed we expanded our family with Charlie, who was born today at 3.54am (cheers for that) weighing 9lb 8oz and very handsome to go with it. My wife sarah is very well although exhausted and my other two are enjoying some quality time with him. Must be time for a sleep soon! Been a long but Happy day. Thanks again for your kind words, and hopefully see some of you soon.

  16. I fit kitchens for a living and That washing machine is never gonna come out through that galley! Worktops off inc sink, lift out heavy washing machine, two man job, move two existing units to the wall where the washing machine is, then put new washing machine to what i presume is the entrance to the kitchen and buy an end panel to cover the side of the washing machine. Job done, would take best part of a day but wouldnt cost you £500 as you would only need material wise a few plumbing fittings and some 1 1/2" waste pipe. Around £300 ish if you can find someone that knows what they are doing.
  17. one of the funniest things i have seen on TV for a long time
  18. http://news.sky.com/home/uk-news/article/16099015 Grew up with Jim'll fix it, he just couldnt fix this one. Totp too. Sad Day indeed. Raised a huge amount for charity in his life and enjoyed every minute of it. Rip.
