ijam Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Hi everyone, I've owned my 350Z since 2005 - here's a picture you might like from March 2006 when I visited a certain famous road... I've since moved back to the UK and brought my car with me. cheers Ian Quote
ijam Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 Oh yes it's a great drive, very scenic - it winds through the foothills of Mount Fuji, a short drive from central Tokyo. This is where many of the European car magazines road test new Japanese cars. Try searching for "Hakone Skyline" on youtube. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=hakone+ ... n&t=m&z=15 Quote
Neilp Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Welcome.. thats a long way to bring a car back haha. Where in the uk are you based ? Quote
ijam Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 Thanks everyone! I suppose it does seem a long way, but I really liked the car. It wasn't too much hassle getting it back - biggest problem was finding the right company to do the Japanese paperwork and arrange everything. On the UK side it was easy to find a company to do the import - waxoil the underneath, fit an alarm, fit a UK rear right light cluster (foglight) and weld a restrictor ring on the fuel filler then register it.
