7 years - not to bad.

Well it finally happened. Went out to the car this morning and it didn't fire first time, which it as always done. After that it was a dead duck, showing about 9/10 amps on the pod. Had to wait for my son to finish work before a trip to Halfords to buy a calcium battery (£94.99). Fitted, when we returned, and everything back to working fine :yahoo:

Still on my original battery (May 05) :)

It should be Dave, it very rarely gets used. :p

But all the more reason it should have expired. ;):p

Wow, Macca, that's a good run on the original one. Got about 4.5 years from mine, but we may have marginally different batteries over here or something silly.

Yeah, my first battery lasted about 2 and a half years, just 5.5k on the clock. I left mine standing for a month while I was on holiday and the battery wouldn't hold the charge after that.
