A quick Google appears to confirm hearsay with other hearsay on other forums. Is it true? Would this not be the most expensive component in the car if it was?! Also says in the service manual to replace it if dropped, and that wouldnt be an issue with metal, more composite materials that fracture/splinter when dropped.
