Adrian@TORQEN Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Looking to get a different number plate for the zed, trying to find one to resemble NISMO, which one would you go for from the bellow set? Quote
mattbowey Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 n50 smo makes it sound like a japanese man saying nismo, "nisomo" Quote
Wasso Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I would go for any of them as they erm.... Don't actually say Nismo, I'm sure N1 SMO has gone so why not just stick with a standard reg. To be fair get something different and unique? Quote

ChrisS Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Can I have some suggestions then? You've opened a can of worms. Be prepared.............. Quote
Wasso Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Well I know FA51 ZED (Fast Zed) is available, and there's no way to rearrange letters and numbers to repeat that reg. Quote

Wasso Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Secret cos I'm getting it No seriously i was contemplating it, but not sure. Your welcome to it as I'd rather spend the money on mods than a plate. I can't recall which site it was on, although it's def on more than one, but not DVLA for some reason? Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 Found it, expensive for what is worth IMO... Price: £862.00 VAT: £172.40 Department of Transport Fee: £80.00 ================ Total: £1,114.40 Quote
Wasso Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 But why mess around with plates that don't actually read what they should, and those ones will be cheap. Fast Zed is unique and that's why it will cost more? Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 Got to buy a JAP style front number plate for the new front bumper and the existing one looks a bit crap split in two, hence I was thinking at other alternatives Quote
LRF4N Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 N22SMO isn't bad, on a zed most ppl would understand it. Depends how cheap it is Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 That's what I thought, too, it's in the shopping cart, £333.00 all together, still thinking.... Quote
LRF4N Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 £255 Inc transfer fee direct from dvla http://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/ ... &price=255 Quote
rtbiscuit Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 non of the ones above look close, i'm contemplating one for my 30th this year, but i want one that will go on my current and all future cars, i cant see th epoint of a plate for 1 car, especially as i tend to swap every 12-18 months. so i'm going for my initials if i do it. Adrian@TORQEN Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 What about OK02 TET --> OK O2TET --> OK OCTET or UK05 TET --> UK O5TET ---> UK O5TET Quote
Wasso Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 It's only numbers and letters don't get too worried about it. It's more about the car than a plate? Quote
Will370z Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 It's only numbers and letters don't get too worried about it. It's more about the car than a plate? +1 would rather spent it on toys for the car. Mind you I gave up trying to find a numberplate with my initials WOW Quote
