Is this just me that this happens with? After they spend the day playing football with someone's priceless fragile delivery you would think they would be relaxed enough to be able to manage a simple collection. I paid 35 quid to have a parcel delivered next day weekend delivery, so they pick it up today (friday) and deliver next day (saturday). This is what the tracking says:

15/04/2011 - 07:46: Order placed successfully

15/04/2011 - 08:05: Awaiting Collection

15/04/2011 - 01:24: Collection point closed

15/04/2011 - 02:06: Collection failed. Please contact us here to reschedule the collection

And I have been waiting around for them, there is no note, no nothing, just a cancellation. I'm beyond pi**ed off right now :rant::rant::rant::rant:

yes i too have suffered muppetcourieritis it seems to affect their ability to read, or leave a note. for instance when the collection instructions say, "package in the back garden, you would kind of hope that a normal person would go through the gate a pick it up. but no they don't read that bit. and then put a card in telling you that you weren't there.

talk about stating the f"ing obvious, i know i wasn't there, thats why i put the package in the back garden

took them a week to work it out

but i got no note, better than that they didn't even think to set off towards my house? maybe they thought knocking on the door would prove challenging and just couldn't handle it.

Its not just Couriers John, Royal Mail are just as S**t......... sticker still not arrived yet :(

do I live in a black hole!? a place of half mb internet, terrible phone signal, no courier collections, a post box that never gets emptied.

:bang: I may as well buy into some pigeons and tiny post it notes.

not to worry, moving house in 6 days time and I get away from this useless place.

If the sticker doesn't arrive by monday let me know and i'll send you another one bud :(

That is simply a failed collection which means that they did not attempt collection probably due to time constraints.

yeah but how is that right  they offer me delivery to my customer and then just don't bother... incredible  burn them, burn them alllllll!!

I used www.myparceldelivery.com

And won't be ever again. having never needed to sort a weekend delivery before I didn't have much to go on and took my pick of the few available. I don't know who they use (DHL etc). I have sent them a nasty email anyhow  lets face it though, the parcel isn't going to sprout wings overnight...

I DID NOT ARRANGE THIS COLLECTION

It is shite mate but it's not uncommon, hit rate for collections/deliveries is 90-95%

a lot of problems occur when the big firms subcontract to some numpty who has no cards no phone no sat nav and no clue. They don't give a poo !!!

There will be something in the small print that says they can't guarantee the service..

Such competition and small margins and customers not knowing how it works, I'm glad I jacked it in.

Suck it up dog..........the worlds full of useless idiots.

There is only one option - rebel...........you and your house mate turd in a box for a week then request that the courier company come and collect the parcel - mail it to the post office in John O'Groats so they have to drive the furthest distance possible with a stinking, rancid box of turds.

Gorilla warfare.
