Anyone tried an eRam?

I think i asked this same question when i first joined and after learning a lot more about cars it became clear that these wont work. The stats in the table are incredibly misleading and i think even impossible in some cases. If you feel the suction that a standard intake produces putting a little fan on it is probably more likely to restrict flow.

Plus as already outlined a piece of plastic going into your intake would be VERY costly.

lol you seen the amount of power thse things aprently draw !

"•1.7 PSI NET BOOST (measured on the intake at wide-open throttle)

•Up to 27 more horsepower GUARANTEED!

(see Guarantee/Warranty page for details)

•Safely draws over 1666 WATTS from the battery when activated at full-throttle!

•Together, both powerful e-RAM units draw over 124 AMPS!

•Total unrestricted air-flow is 800 CFM when stacked as shown, or 1600 CFM when mounted in parallel to get 5% HP gain on engines larger than 5.0L or over 300HP."

theire airflow numbers are in the ball park for whats needed but my goodness its drawing a couple of bhp off the batery !

If only i had seen this before my S/C :bang::bang::bang:

Dave, you miss the point, you need to strap these inline with the SC :drive1:teeth::#1:

O dang!! Ordered!! Massive amounts of win for me in the future :yahoo:

You could order 20 of them, cut a hole from your engine bay, through the passenger seat and through one of the speakers. Line them all up and hey presto! A 2000 bhp zed is at your mercy!

Might as well stick on your missus's hairdryer

Seriously though, Crappy plastic propellers and stuff!! imagine one broke and went into your intake?!!

No need. she already has one of them Sh*tty Clarke's. Plenty good enough.

Oh, did I mention, I don't even have a missus with a blowdryer.
