We have thousands of tonnes of glycol on board so de-icings not an issue, the pilots are just not built like they were used too. The second flight has turned back too so it looks like another night on here. Although it would be worse if the zed wasn't under a foot of snow i suppose. Quote
stanski Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 We have to thank the health and safety brigade for all this but then again its all down to the lovely were there is blame we will sue your arse off culture we imported from overseas! Quote
Dene8 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 I still think a raft is the best option.......... some nice winds and a freak current could have you home by mid evening Can't imagine being stuck quite literally in the middle of nowhere for *insert time period here* at a time....... Quote
srobrien Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Do you still get paid sr? Yeah we do get pretty well compensated, but it doesn't really make up for missing a precious day at home. I still think a raft is the best option.......... some nice winds and a freak current could have you home by mid evening Can't imagine being stuck quite literally in the middle of nowhere for *insert time period here* at a time....... A raft is a decent idea, i'll see what i can find lying around, we have a heap of old pallets and some rope R Quote
