GT4 Zed
I am new to the forum and live in the Midlands. I have just got myself a mint black GT4 after owning a Uk GT for 6 months. I have been in the 350z tech community for close top 8 months and found it very informative but after a few visits to this forum i have to say we have nothing to envy the yanks as we have a very strong community and it is about time i joined the fold. I have owned several drivers cars(all modified) in the past and I am more that impressed with the Z and what is achievable in N/A tune. That said, I got the GT4 as a good base to start modifying and sofar I have powdercoated the wheels black, put on black zed badges, JWT and stubby arial. My next challenge is to complete this "super black" look with blacked out sidemarkers, repeaters, door handles and rear lights complemented with a frontlip(veilside V1 or like) Nismo skirts(or like) and a chargespeed rear bumber cowl if i can get my hands on one. The other steps include: 1- Suspension/brakes: ?Megan racing fully adjustable coilover, ?Hotchkis ARB's, Eibach 20mm spacers, Ferodo pads and steel brake lines. 2- Intake/engine/exhaust: plenum spacer or kinetix v+ plenum, Nismo thermostat, iridium plugs, grounding kit, APS oil pan, ?Megan racing resonated decat pipe and y-pipe with oem mid pipe/muffler (or used full s-tune ehaust system). 3- I am also considering an air diversion plate, short shifter and light weight pulley set. My goal is to make my Zed responsive, trackable and look and sound menacing without being OTT or me having to sell a kidney! I am open to all your input, experiences and suggestions on how to achieve this and links where i can source things(new and used) at the best price within the UK and US. Merry christmas to you all and hope to get to a meet asap. Cheers

MrLizard
Does anyone have any personal experience with- decat pipes - kinetix V+ plenum or plenum spacer? - lightweight pulley set Did you make any power or improve response? I have read quite a bit and seen maps etc but i want to here from those who have done it. Thanks I had the spacer and a new exhaust + Y pipe fitted at the same time and there was a noticeable difference in power delivery and performance from about 4k rpm up, felt like more of a push in the back, although feels quicker with the bungs in the exhaust!
