Beavis Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Right guys and girls, i know May next year is a very long way off but already i have started to think about the next drive out in Wales. But the team have been discussing some new ideas. I am posting them here now to guage response and interest. I have thought about making it a 2 day event (sat and sun). A route and a drive on the saturday and the traditional route on the Sunday. Doing it this way may make it more appealing to those that are coming from afar. The saturday night may involve a BBQ or some other type of social event. The Sunday will probably be the same route as normal from Chester, so basically you can do either day or both. So thoughts please guys on what you want. As ever i would hope for a huge turn out for this and would like to see in excess of 50 cars at least for the Sunday. Initial thought is that this would take place the second week end in May. So whats it to be a Single day or two day event? So come on guys and girls its time to turn out for the biggy and show that this is the premier 350z club in the UK.

IanS16 Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Well I'd only go for one day as I found last year I was absolutely knackered by the end of the day (and because I'm tight to pay for 2 days worth of petrol ) but there's no reason you can't do two and have people join in on the Sunday!

Chesterfield Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Voted 2 days, however for myself that would probably mean being involved in any social evening on the Saturday rather than the whole day. The Saturday of the Wales Weekend is usually reserved for Mrs Chesterfield shopping day

stanski Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 To any newbies out there - its well worth going - been to the 2 this year and they are great days - its best as a 2 day event for the people that have to travel any distance and anyone locally maybe join in some overnight or afternoon shenanigans! Sunday flies past very quickly so best to meet and greet soon as you can

I have been to 2 and think I still only met about 20% of people on each one. At this rate I need at least another 3 before I've met everyone once!
Maccaman Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Voted for 2 days. Would be a great opportunity to get to meet & possibly to know people more as we get little chance the rest of the time. Also good for those that travel a long way, maximises their weekend.
xStric9x Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 If this is or going to be a 2 day event maybe i could get something sorted for the saturday afternoon/evening, eg meal just outside chester and then back to hoole road so everybody can have a drink. Just a suggestion, what do you think?
