Randomfry Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I want to change wheels, rear lights for led ones, nismo exhaust, 5/16 spacer, piggy back ecu maybe, nismo kit possibly and satin z badges. Question is... what should i do first? Most of it's gonna take some saving up so i'm wondering what i should be saving for really. Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Spacer and grounding kit and CAI first, then zorst and hi-flow cats, then on to the body! No point in getting the piggyback until you got all your engine and breathing bits done first... Quote
Randomfry Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 I've read a few posts about the grounding kits and they seem to get mixed reviews. The spacers something i want to do soon ish. But you think performance stuff before all the showy stuff? Quote
Ian Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I started with wheels. Spacer, intake & exhaust is a good start though Quote

lilsheepshagga_turbo Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 i would personally start with exhaust/intake as i cant stand the standard exhaust... then wheels...then bodykit and then I.C.E... who needs the bose when you would have the zuast/intake to keep yourself entertained ho Quote
Stew Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Well I'd do what you want first. If you think wheels would be best then do that however remember it's coming up to winter. But probably best to start with the inexpensive stuff to get going if you you can't wait! Quote
RobD7 Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 I agree with Ho, exhuast and filter first, that's what I've done That's if I don't count the Nismo kit which it came with Quote
dcash5 Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Well depend, if u like noise - Filter Exhaust Like the looks, wheels then sus Quote
Randomfry Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 Hmm well as stew says it's coming to winter so getting new wheels now is probably not the best idea. I think a set of satin z badges and then the led rears maybe. I think i better get used to how much fuel it guzzles before i change the air filter. Quote
Stew Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 popcharger is worth a bung. It's about £100 now and sounds great. Fuel consumption won't be increased unless you REALLY like the noise of it! Quote
P15UL T Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 i would get a set of customised front headlights.... most folks start with wheels - but defo best to wait till spring for that just keep your eye out on what comes along at a good price on ebay and the forums and pick things up that way, its a good way to save some money Paul Quote
Randomfry Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 Lol i like those headlights but i don't know if i can live without mine while they're done. Popcharger is definately gonna happen. Just not sure when. Had to pay out £80 to swap my numberplate over yesterday so i'm gonn ahave to put a lot of overtime in. Quote
Pimm Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 I am in the same situation at the moment. I have so far changed to the stubby aerial and got a set of led lights and i am very happy with them. I think it must be wheel time next though. Quote
Toon Chris Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Lol i like those headlights but i don't know if i can live without mine while they're done. Popcharger is definately gonna happen. Personally, the spacer for power, the exhaust for looks and sound, followed by the pop-charger for extra sound (and throttle response). You missed one item from your list, some uprated brake pads Quote
Randomfry Posted September 2, 2008 Author Posted September 2, 2008 Well i've got money i'm just trying to limit what i spend on it lol. The mods it has so far are a S2000 stubby aerial, ferodo racing pads all round and white led interior and numberplate lights. I think i'll go for the spacer first, hopefully in time for the thurrock meet. Quote
