AlperK Posted January 12 Posted January 12 (edited) Hi everyone, I bought my first 350Z last year and thought it was time to join the community and say hello! The car had 66k miles when I picked it up and is completely stock for now. I’m based in Northern Ireland and have some upgrades planned soon, including: • Replacing the rusty exhaust system with an Invidia Gemini Cat-back and Torqen HF Cats • Replacing the noisy release bearing with the clutch. Still debating whether to replace the flywheel at the same time – any advice? • Possibly getting a tune after the exhaust upgrade – considering UpRev. I’ve also done a few updates already: • Replaced the boot struts with new ones from SGS Engineering (thanks to Markus!) as the originals couldn’t handle the heavy wing anymore. • Swapped the OEM intake pipes for ISR Racing ones. I’d love to hear your thoughts on these mods and any recommendations for an NI-based mechanic who could take good care of the car. Looking forward to learning from you all and sharing my journey! Olly350z Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Nice looking Z there pal, bit of a special one with the factory Nismo kit? Gallery Gaskets would be another consideration if you've not thought about it already 1 Quote
HEADPHONES Posted January 19 Posted January 19 A very tidy and classy looking Zed you have acquired. Hope you can attend some of our meets. I so regret not participating more iny younger years. I used to be put off by the long drive to some of these, but if you have a local member also attending, you get the added benefit of a mini convoy and pre meet 1 Quote
AlperK Posted February 22 Author Posted February 22 @Olly350z – Thanks, mate! Yeah, it’s the Nismo V1 kit. I’m aware of the gallery gaskets, but oil pressure is solid for now, so I’ll leave it until it becomes an issue. 😄 @HEADPHONES – Appreciate the kind words! I haven’t been to many meets yet as I’ve been focusing on parts and upgrades recently. But I definitely want to attend more this year! As for updates, will be replacing the clutch, flywheel, master and CSC this week, along with the full exhaust kit (Invidia Gemini + Torqen HFCs). Looking forward to getting everything sorted and hitting the road properly! Quote
AlperK Posted February 22 Author Posted February 22 Also, a big thanks to @Coz@TORQEN and @Adrian@TORQEN at Torqen for their help while I was ordering all the parts. They were super responsive and made the whole process smooth. Really appreciate the great service! 3 Quote
350CAL Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Health to drive. I used to own this car and wasn’t getting to drive it with the kids being so young. glad to see someone else is getting to enjoy it, broke my heart to let it go. I’ve something for you that didn’t go along with the sale of the car. Drop me a message. 07803624746 1 Quote
