350z loss of bhp

Hi I have a supercharged 350z Vortech .When fitted 418 whip it is know 354whlp.

The cat is not blocked .Horsham developments have visual checked the supercharger and appears ok.Any ideas.

Perhaps it needs more than a visual check the boys at horsham really know there stuff i would say horsham would be your best bet, good luck

I thought you couldn't run cats with forced induction?

Dyno runs and conditions have to fairly identical to compare results.

What tune did you get?

Up Rev?

Loss of Boost perhaps?

Thanks for reply Horsham have done several dyno tests . Supercharger showing same boost no obvious engine problems supercharger pressure tested ok no leaks,

Test pipes fitted still 354whip . The only thing there thinking is a blockage in the back box. I have a Stillen cat back system fitted. My next step is to dyno with back box removed what do you think any ideas?

Yes, simples, reach out to Horsham and give them the car and just ask them to fix it.

 

They know the car much better than any of us.

Horsham are still scratching their heads they say it might be the supercharger but pressure seems ok and no leaks. I could send back to Vortech for checking but this will cost. Is there anywhere in the uk who can check Vortech and rebuild if needed.

So Horsham did both the 418 and the 354 dyno runs, correct? Are Horsham saying there is def something wrong with it? What boost are you running? What size pulley?

 

What I’m getting at is this is lacking in details and Horsham know their stuff, so I’m surprised if they can’t fix it or give you a hint as to where to go next.
