Hello everyone

I’m new to the forum and look forward to reading posts from everyone

i got my 2018 Nismo couple of years ago. Last year I took it to a nearest Nismo dealer from Hinckley (I won’t name it just for the extra mystery) for a routine service and I was shocked and not happy. I requested for a full 4 wheel alignment check and they were unable to do it due to no aglinment equipment and they rang me saying they could not find the locking wheel nut but have to use their master key. I was then very worried cause if they don’t even know where the locking nut is what sort of trainee would be working on my car. Now another service is due  and I don’t want my car to be serviced there. Would any of you guys can suggest any good Nismo garage or good specialists who know the 370 and would do a good job ?

any help would be appreciated

Unfortunately it sounds like you've learnt the hard way that these main dealerships are usually not very good and expensive. Even their so called 'specialist centres'.

Horsham Developments and Abbey Motorsports both have extremely good reputations for all things Z. I'm sure there is some other specialists garages some other forum members can mention as well

My nismo will be going for its first service this year, i will be doing the trip to Horsham developments in Newbury from Bristol, definitely won't be going to a main dealer

  Shame it’s too far from me

I would make the journey to Horsham developments, it's only 1:45 min or so and we'll worth it, he can also sort your alignment out as well

Thanks I ll ask if they can let me wait for it

no need when Mitz is on your doorstep. He is more than capable.

Yes mate but he posted earlier that he’s still got a backlog of customers to sort first :)

I will probably get Horsham to lower the nismo a bit on the first service, to hell with the warranty life is to short:teeth:

Just take the transportation blocks out of the springs , that’ll lower it Paul  though I bet you’ve checked that already.

Not the infamous transport blocks subject again. Please don’t tell me you are driving the car with them still in the springs ?
