New Z owner!

Howdy!

 

Just thought i'd say hi - after months of searching for the right Z i've finally found it and bought it! An immaculate UK car - 1 owner, low miles, full spec GT model in gunmetal grey

 

I'm really impressed with it - it looks good, goes well, handles great and sounds fantastic!

 

I've been browsing the forum whilst i was hunting for the right Z and have found it to be a friendly and informative place.

 

I'm based in central Scotland so would be keen to hear if anyone can recommend decent dealers or specialists in the area.

 

Are there many Scottish based owners?

Hey buddy welcome to the forum! I am just outside glasgow where abouts are you? Your gettin the zed at the right time, i got mine in december and eperienced it in the snow and ice! Which was an interesting experience lol

Ashamed to say I havent even got round to taking any pics yet - its almost been constant rain since i picked it up (though i have managed to wash it twice)

 

Will post some pics soon once i get a chance to pamper it with plenty of Megs & Autoglym products.

 

Jay - i'm just outside Glasgow too, how are you enjoying the car? Any good dealers or specialists around?

To be honest with you mate i havent really done anything to the car except wheels which i got off net and my flip screen which i got at motorsport. Near shawlands do you know where that is? Am based in the southside of glasgow, u never kno may c you driving by lol.

 

As for the car i am loving it! Not had any long cruises in it yet! Furthest is prob edinburgh. But got me there pretty quick lol

As for specialists up that way, ZMANALEX is in Scotland I think, and Big Phil is in the sunny North East of England.

I'm in Larbert, as is scotZ, and there are quite a few more from Scotland. Stew in Aberdeen is a regular poster, Paul has the green one, and Gus occasionally pops up. Chris from JDMPerformance (formerly Funkystyling) is also based near here. Like Big Phil, he offers lots of extras for the Z as well as other Japanese cars.

 

Stew is trying to organise a run out in the NW Highlands later this year - worth keeping an eye out for details.

Sorry it took me so long, I was out enjoying the Zed in the Highlands!

 

Welcome to the forum, as the guys have said (well lomoto) plenty of sweaty socks on here. They don't know it yet but Alex Salmonds plan to take over the world is in stage 2 already! Gordon ...cough... Brown in Downing Street! :lol:

 

Anyway, enjoy the Zed, you should come east as apart from the snow a couple of weeks ago the weather is dry(ish) this year!
