Stew Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/542774?UserKey=0 This article that appeared in a local paper amused me..... The video at the bottom too! Quote
Stew Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 Thats peetrheeders for you! Martinmac will know exactly what I mean...... Quote
AndySpak Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I think the papers and the HSE are being a bit over the top there. It doesn't look that dangerous to me, in fact, I bet its safer than the similar rides that get set up and operated by pikeys at the travelling fairgrounds. Its not as bad as this one that Sarnie posted up a few months ago... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CozB_32U ... re=related Quote
lilsheepshagga_turbo Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 sorry to be different but i think it looks kanny fun and i wanna go on both Quote
martinmac Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Now if he had written a procedure and carried out a full risk assessment it would have been safe. The only problem would have been that nobody would have been able to read it eh Stew. Normal night out in Peterheed The fact that there was "oil" mentioned in the story always gives it impetus. Can you arrange some fun like this on the Hoon Stew Quote
Stew Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 I'm damn sure I could! My GFs uncle owns a builders merchants in the area the hoon is so I'm sure we could raid it to rig up a Zed ramp or some other attractions! Quote
jim Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/542774?UserKey=0 This article that appeared in a local paper amused me..... The video at the bottom too! This story and the film even made the TV news (BBC Reporting Scotland) the other night. If there are a lot of JCBs going missing over the next few weeks, we'll know why! Quote
Stew Posted March 22, 2008 Author Posted March 22, 2008 Did it? Ha ha! I thought that all stolen JCBs ended up on railway lines...... Quote
Stew Posted March 22, 2008 Author Posted March 22, 2008 I'd like a shot in a offshore crane! Now that would be fun! I'll try to find a pic soon, busy right this minute! Quote
Stew Posted March 22, 2008 Author Posted March 22, 2008 There you go Jay, a real crane to swing on! The two red and white bits Quote
martinmac Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Once you have been taken off a supply boat by a rig crane in a basket in a force 8 you will have had all the fun you need in one lifetime. Its awful Quote
Ebized Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 In New Zealand they would probably regard it as pretty tame . Quote
