Oil Leeks

Firstly, the spelling mistake was so you'd come in.

 

The Zed is the only car without one at the moment.

 

Skyline has a small leak but level doesnt change and it's like a drop probably like once everytime it's taken out. At 21 years old (the car not me ) do you think I should worry or just accept it.

Where is it leaking from? If it's somewhere that could suddenly get catastrophically worse then I'd sort it ASAP, if it's just a nibble from somewhere unimportant then I'd leave it.

As Dan said do you know where the leak is coming from?

Just keep an eye on it, if it gets worse then that's when to consider options. No doubt it will get worse, just a question of when I guess so would be good to know where it's coming from.

I'm going to get her a good seeing to over the winter so will know more then. Like I said it's minuscule and oil level not even moved since last service. Although only done about 1500 miles max.

 

The Zed would have probably used a litre over that distance!

Give it a good blast mate with some degreaser so its all cleaned up, stick some cardboard under the car and see how it goes when its parked up - you can see how much is dripping out, and get a view on where its coming from.

What he said ^^ just start from the top down after a good clean to see if you can identify the offending article.
