Finally got one...

After a few failed attempts, I finally found the Zed for me. A standard UK car with GT pack - the only after market part is the Invidia exhaust... jury is still out on that one...

Car has been stood a while, but well looked after. Needs a good service and new brake pads and discs. Is 12 years old, but only done 16k miles. I bypassed this one on my initial search as the seller was, in my opinion, over ambitious with the asking price... it is always hard to value a special car like this though I suppose... anyway, I tried my luck and he proved willing to negotiate. Odd thing is, it is exactly the same as the car I bought new in 2004 and sold in 2006 - a year older but same spec, colour and mileage.

I'll get some more photos after it gets pampered tomorrow. This is just a quickie on a service station stop off on the way home today.

Well happy :)

Rubber perishes when it's "stood for a while", which is one of the reasons I don't put exceptional value in 'barn finds' with 'low mileage' - unless it's a rare car; they usually need a lot of seals and bushes replacing, an in some cases, a complete engine rebuild.

I'd have it thoroughly checked out

It is not quite a barn find, but you do make a point. I'm under no illusions it is a 12 year old car. It is going to a local specialist as soon as I can get it in.

Thanks everyone.

Ahh those were the days. When engines were made of rubber and had to be replaced when left for a while!

Congrats mate. Invidia is a nice system, you should be happy with that  looks smart.

Yeah, I'm actually warming to it. Thought it was a tad bit loud at first but it isn't annoyingly loud unless you want it to be with your right foot that is.

yeah you got it, it seems as though that's the general consensus for most of the 350z systems
