My car pulled better, made more power & run cooler with the stock box & filter over the popcharger & ARC intake Ian, thats not helping with what i actually mean mate

So many discussions on these pop chargers with many different answers I have a pop charger, sounds nice and has made my car feel smoother to drive. If i thought i was losing that much bhp i would get rid of it tomorrow. I was speaking to Captain on the weekend and he has just got a cosworth panel filter and reckon's its better than his old PC. Now I am under the impression that yes when the car is staionary the popcharger can suffer and do from heat soak BUT when you are rolling along then the popcharger comes into it's own. Forget rollig roads with a fan stuck in front of it, this does not replecate the same cold air/wind affect as driving along at 60 mph. Anyone else see what i am on about ??

This is not about independents being less competent. I use my local garage 2 minutes down the road for most of my work but the MOT and service goes with Nissan which is 30 minutes away for reason that I am not a mechanic so someone has to do the job. The cost's of these two different garages to do the same job is nearly nothing and I personally prefer to see a dealers stamp than a independent in my service book especially when the zed's are a little special in my mind and the car is of lower mileage. My other 3 cars go to the local garage because they are of higher miles and the service history is not that important(vauxhall astra,2x 106's). Does this make sense

it's all down to money yes but it is nice to have a nissan dealer stamp on the service record even though it is just a oil change

My P1 was £135 all in and it passed it's MOT with no problems at all
