I'm just going to cut my existing plate down to fit in the new JDM rear bumper. I can do this because it's only a 5 letter plate which is to the correct size letters spaces etc. It doesn't say anything on the Gov site about plate size just letters, font, style and spaces. If the plate itself had to be a specific size I.e. 20.5 x 4.5 then any car where the number plate was irregularly shaped or larger like the Rover 75 and some jags would also be illegal?

Yeah the K1 is loud with bungs out and bearable with them in. I'm thinking of getting rid of mine purely because I fancy a change lookng at a resonated Cobra but not sure if 85Db will be too quiet for me after a K1..... But don't wanna go non resonated as it might be similar to my bunged k1 arghhhhhg decisions!!

What really annoys me is that you have to tell the insurance company if your car has non-standard options, I.e. Rays on pre MY06 cars. How are you supposed to know if you but a uses car and know unless you are in the know or part of a community like this one.

You can get the clips off eBay also. I bought about 25 for £3-4. Just put the clip part number into eBay search and voila. Or he will have them!

I've had 4 wheels and tyres in before For 2 you have 2 options: 1) both in passenger seat ( can't see out of wingmirror) 2) one stood up in front of strut brace and one in spare wheel recess.

Cheers I4N it was much easier. Done the drivers one as well now, will probably have another go at it though because I think I was expecting the vinyls could do too much and ripped it going the hand grab. It still looks good might just need a lil touch up.

This was way harder and didn't get the window switch how I wanted so will redo when I have more experience..
