    :)

Awesome! Saw your car today at TOTB but sadly didn't see it running. Looked fantastic. Hope all is well and nothing has gone wrong.
  4. Ha ha you ain't the only one! Can't imagine the wheel bearings are going to be enjoying the 60mm spacers either. The loads are gonna be massive compared to design loads. Never been a fan of the veilside, looking forward to getting my 'kit' sorted.
  5. Is that silly
  6. I might offer him 8k lol
  7. Looking good
  8. I think it's awesome. The start with the engineering and industrial revolution was pure class.
  9. Awesome always loved the 300
  10. I used a hair dryer and petrol. Hair dryer to soften everything so could pull the plate off then petrol to clean up the bumper of adhesive marks ..... Probably not great for the paint but the but my bumper is getting replaced soon
  11. That's the plan once this tenancy agreement is over. Hoping to buy somewhere with enough space to build a massive garage! I want at least a double with space for a work area.
  12. Nope not seen those but a visual deterrent is always a good thing in my eyes for the opportunists.
  13. Bloody hell hadn't realised it was a major issue with BMW's will make sure the mrs gets a steering lock ASAP.
  14. Thank you for the input guys really appreciate it. Decided the bummer gets the garage as we think it's probably more of a target due to the value. Even though the zed is a much better looking car lol.
  15. To be honest I was learning towards the Beemer. In terms of the cheaper quotes for the car being on the drive I think mine also came up cheaper last year when I looked. Will have to check insurance prices. Just seems to me someone would be more likely to want to steal a 21k car than a 7k car.
  16. Thoughts and opinions please folks. I recently moved in with the Girlfriend and when we were looking for a place I said I wanted a garage for the car. So we got a place with a single garage. At the time our lass drove a 106 independence so no need for that to be garaged. However the 106 has now gone to the scrapyard in the sky and she has just bought a brand new 1 Series BMW. We now can't decide who should get the garage. Reasons the zed should get it: Being a performance car it is likely to appeal to be stolen by joy riders. Also being a performance car it is likely to attract random vandalism. Reasons the BMW should get it: The car is worth a lot more than the zed. BMW and Audi seem to appeal to professional thieves for export from what I've read. Therefore being hidden is a benefit. Just wondered what others thoughts are? Cheers
  17. Yeah it is mate, not the greatest surface there to be fair.
  18. Awesome! If your around Van they'll prob just be black bears so no issues. Just watch out for the cougars! Now they are what you have got to be wary of, they have stalked cyclists, horse riders and hikers for hours before having a go. I'm sure you knew that anyway. When I lived in Whistler there were about 5 attacks in 12 months.
  19. When fitting fit it loose with all the bolts in but not tightened up then start at the Y pipe end and you shouldn't have any problems. Well i didn't when I did mine.
  20. Yes it could, the brace is there for the cars rigidity. I'd be straight back down the garage that did it demanding they pay for a new cross brace, they shouldn't have done that without asking first. It's like saying we couldn't get your engine out so we've cut your gearbox in half. My K1 is clear of the brace.
  21. Hope you can get it sorted!
  22. Now that is strange, like I say mine has done something similar in the past but always been an easy fix. Seems like its 'forgot' it's paired to a device. I know you've tried re-pairing so not sure what else to suggest ...
  23. Good luck dude! Hope the seat is comfy, saddle sore is a cruel mistress!!!
  24. Wish id seen this sooner could have saved you some effort! Mine has done the same a couple of times and always fixed it by removing the module with the ignition on then bunging it back in. Sorry dude!
  25. Neither had I. That's awesome!
